Desert Palms Hotel & Suites Anaheim Guest Reviews
I couldn't find any other hotel in the Disneyland area that offered FREE parking, FREE HOT breakfast, and FREE WiFi. Yes, even though it's on the back side of Paradise Pier of California Adventures, it's about a mile to get out the gate and to the hotel (a long walk at the end of the day but do-able), but the hotel is clean, offered me an upgrade upon check in, and had an extensive breakfast with eggs, potatoes, sausage, make-your-own waffles, cereal, rolls, donuts, yogurt...etc There were many families here, but our room was at the end of the hall so it was fairly quiet. My mark of 5 stars includes duvet covers (which they did not have) but other than that many people seemed to be enjoying other amenities such as the pool and spa (not large but it was popular). Our room did have a mini-fridge and microwave. The soap/towels were a low point...bring your own sundry items or visit Target down the road. The 7-Eleven next door is a great, clean, brightly lit place to get water and items before going to the park. Affordable, clean, nice place to stay for our girls trip. Looked good for families too.

There were so many screaming kids, which we know isn't the hotels fault, but it kind of took away from our expreience. You deal with that all day at Disneyland the last thing you want is to have it back at your hotel. The breakfast was NOT that great! We ate cereal and waffles the whole time we were there. The eggs and sausage patties (if you can call it that) were horrible. The location was advertised as being WAY closer than it was. It is more like 2 long blocks to walk and after a LONG day of walking in Disneyland, it was not pleasant to walk that far going back. Also, the 7-11 is very sketchy. Keep your children close and don't make any eye contact. The beds were not that comfortable and the fan IS really loud in the bathroom. The front desk staff was great and there was always cleaning staff working very hard to keep things looking good (washing glass on front entrance doors), cleaning main floor public washroom, etc). We probably won't go back. This was our 4th trip to Disneyland and we'll go back to our favourite hotel next time.

Rooms were very clean, breakfast buffet was great and Disneyland Parks were only a 10-15 minute walk. Garden Walk shopping complex is right across the street. Everyone had a great time!!!

2 rooms 5 days including weekend, Requested adjoining rooms, got adjoining rooms. Breakfast included sausage patties, scrambled eggs, roasted potato, and expected stuff at continental breakfast. Plentiful and restocked if ran out. 8AM is rush time so be early or late. Beds were comfy, bathroom drains worked (don't find that often). They charge a safe and resort fee (total around 7 a day), 14mins walk pushing a double stroller to tickets, 5 mins to gardenwalk, 7`11 and ABC right next door, parking was easy, hotel is built around the pool so wind not a problem, Only negative is the front desk staff at night duty, professional but with a bad cop attitude, if you don't have to deal with them, you will have a good time.
