2 Nächte. Die Lage ist OK, auch wenn man durch einen etwas obskuren Park gehen muss um zum Hotel zu gelangen. Das Frühstück kostete 15 Euro extra. Drum gingen wir zum Bäcker nebenan. Dafür sauber und freundlich.

Stayed as part of the "Festival of Lights" in Lyon. As all other hotels increased their prices to extrodinary levels. Not too far from Charpennes metro station about 10min walk through safe streets. Nothing special to look at from the outside. Service is good by the front desk. Although the rooms do appear a little bit dated (exception of the 19" non Wide Screen LCD TV). The closest metro station: Charpennes has two metro lines (A line takes you straight into the city centre Hotel De Ville and Bellecour, D line takes you to Gare Part Dieu where the airport shuttle stops) and tram line which also takes you to Gare Part Dieu.

Middle of a concrete jungle of tower blocks, every other person you pass smells like they've been sleeping in marijuana all day. Building works to improve the damp problems plaguing the bottom of the buildings. Selection of food and length of service in restaurant for dinner most disappointing. Had the impressionthat they were understaffed. OK, it was dark and didn't stop raining the whole visit (1 night), but still, unless you are meeting in the nearby business estate, find somewhere nicer!
