Stay was for one night only after a late evening flight into Nuremberg, before catching a train the next morning. Location outside the old town okay - you could walk to both the train station and the old town. Nice touch with complimentary beer and water in the fridge. However, room smelt of smoke, despite being a non-smoking room. Room was large and well equipped, all be it the decor was probably a little dated. Would I stay there again? Probably Yes.

It's about a 10-15 minute walk from the city, only 5 or so from the subway (U-Bahn). There is free street parking and 10 Euro/day in the garage. For the price it was a great hotel. They gave us two bottles of water and beer a day in the fridge, which was nice. I read some complaints in the reviews that sound mostly like people that aren't familiar with most European hotels. I've been living in Europe and traveling for over 8 months and most of the complaints I read are the norm here. 1. 10 Euro for parking is fairly cheap. 2. The parking spaces in the garage while small by American standards aren't abnormal for here (now the lot my wife and I used in Oslo... THAT was small) 3. No air conditioning, most hotels I've been to here don't have AC. My apartment here doesn't have AC. This took my wife and i off guard at first too but most will have fans. We're used to it now, but unfortunately those of you that will only be here for your trip might not be.

Difficult to understand that this is a four star (***) hotel. Just average, noisy rooms due to the traffic, no cutlery nor plates in the kitchnette, small old fashion television with limited number of channels. On the other hand rooms are big with balcony.

Very nice room, a lot better than an ibis hotel for example, and I paid less. I can recommend this hotel for bussiness and pleasure.
