Hotel did not have air conditioning. We had to open up the room window, open the door, and open the hall way windows to cool down the room. The hotel needs a facelift; we were given a room with dirty 80's style rattan furniture and decor. Just horrible. It does not match its portrayal on its website. Was not pleased with this hotel. Hotel's breakfast staff looked tired and uptight plus breakfast was less than adequate. However, front desk staff was friendly and very helpful. We were so looking foward to our stay and were extremely disappointed.

Nice hotel and friendly staff. A guide about getting away from the parking-house through the one-way streets would have been nice!

Nice traditional hotel, pretty good location, although next to rail line which may not suit everybody, place shakes when trains pass. Very nice authentic restaurant, quality of food is very good but expensive considering the quantity you get on the plate compared to other restaurants in Germany. All in all I would recommend as it is an ideal base for exploring the region and Hannover is just an hour away by car. Would stay there again but have dinner elsewhere
