Esbjerg Climate

Being one of the Scandinavian countries, Denmark never gets too hot. Esbjerg experiences temperature averages of around 1°C in the winter months with around nine rainy days per month and the chance of snow, and up to around 17°C in August with about eight days of rain.

Getting There & Around

As a major city in Denmark, Esbjerg enjoys a good transport network, enabling visitors to get there with ease. There is an airport in Esbjerg itself, which has international services to Stavanger and Aberdeen, or the ferry terminal has a line from Harwich in the UK. The city’s train station is the terminus for the intercity trains from Copenhagen.Once in the city, there are numerous ways to get around, including car hire, taxis, buses or it is possible to hire a bicycle and follow one of the cycle tour routes in the city.
