Dene Hotel Chester Guest Reviews
First of all i would take this time to say the staff were excellent. We were given a room which was basic but functional. However the shower did not work and were given another room. This was of a good size and really nice. I would recommend if you were in Chester for a break.

No one in Reception on arrival, several other people waiting, rang extension no. three times-no answer. When Reception finally turn-up after 15 minutes no greeting or appology. Room cleaned only in accessable areas. bathroom poor. Restuarant service and menu was good. Would not stay here again.

Room stank of disinfectant on arrival. Evening meal was dire. Stay if you need somewhere cheap(ish) in Chester, but don't eat there!

Proof of you get what you pay for. Perfect if you just need somewhere to sleep, and great location, 10 minutes walk from the city centre, but not somewhere to go for a long stay.

I stayed in this hotel, with my family, for a weekend break. We found our triple room to be spacious and the staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is situated on the outskirts of the town but close enough to walk to both town and railway station. There is also a local high street in Hoole which is within easy walking distance. I would recommend this hotel.
