We stayed overnight for the purpose of taking two young grandchildren to the Monterey Bay Aquarium. The location was convenient, adequate for our needs, quiet night's sleep. The manager was friendly and helpful.

Comfortable enough but the rooms need a general 'tidy up '. Handles missing off drawers, curtain draw cords non existent, bedside lights lights old, lights need cleaning as light is poor anyhow.

Registration was quick and easy, in room within 5 mins. Room was clean, tidy and adequate for 1 night stop over. Breakfast consisted of a few muffins and orange juice in reception area which was enough just to get you back on the road.

We were just stopping over in Monterey so we didn't get to see the downtown area but the motel was within fair walking distance. Also there was a great Mexican restaurant down the street where we had dinner. The motel was nice and clean and offered free "breakfast" of muffins and juice. Would stay there again.
