The property is located on the beautiful Pacific coast with views so spectacular you will never want to leave. Around the corner from the hotel, you will find the Del Mar Thoroughbred Race Track and Fairgrounds, the quaint village of Del Mar where you can shop at the specialty boutiques, find a variety of restaurants as well as nightclubs.

Del Mar Motel At The Beach San Diego Guest Reviews
Location was great (great beach) but could not get a room with a beach view and the room came across as a grunge motel (weird decor, reverse plumbing, etc). The savior of our evening was the fantastic happy hour (fantastic seafood at half price) at the restaurant next door with bar stools next to a doorway open to the beach.
