Great place to stay, spectacular outdoor setting and of course, access to Dead Sea, soooo relaxing. Room was luxury.

Certainly a good 3.5 star hotel, maybe touching on a 4* hotel. That it is not 5* is reflected in the price. Great location, with own Dead Sea beach, 1 pool exclusive to guests, and 3 other pools open to the public. Rooms clean, functional, satellite TV, coffee/water (free) & minibar (charges). Breakfast buffet comprehensive (and not too busy), but with only 1 restaurant and buffet in evening, not a great choice if you don't want to join the large numbers of European coach tourists. However, you can walk/get golf buggy to Kempinski immediately next door for pricier a-la carte options, or with a car there are restaurants North (near checkpoint) and south (up the hill at the panoramic view). Staff helpful, though a little overwhelmed at check-in as the coaches arrived. Waiters and cleaning staff polite and always seemingly busy cleaning, repairing, serving etc. No complaints with the hotel and a relaxed time had!

Unfortunately there were renovations being done to the hotel gardens & pools, making walking down to the Dead Sea laborious. As far as the rooms & the view go, we were delighted! We'll be happy to book at the Dead Sea Spa Hotel again, given the chance.
