This hotel looks big, but only has 80 rooms, and the service is outstanding. I would recommend it to all my friends.

Excellent standard of room and service. Drawbacks: 1. Limited parking so had to park in public carpark outside old town and walk to hotel (not far).I believe other hotels in St Malo are similar as old town is largely pedestrianised. 2. Our room had excellent view over main pedestrian square, but this meant it was very busy until late, then there was noise from restaurants clearing up very late and noise started again very early next morning. Summary: Excellent hotel but next time we would ask for a room at back of hotel away from public noise.

May wife and I stayed at this lovely hotel for two nights for my 64th birthday. The room we had only looked out over the roof of the reception area but it was a nice size with a lovely bathroom. It was very quiet and we slept well. The hotel is in such a prime position for the St Malo facilities being right in the main square. The staff were excellent and the restuarant + breakfast superb. We had my birthday meal there and the restaurant staff were brilliant. They could not do enough for us. They actually gave me a small present and lit a very large sparkler candle after our meal...... we had a lot of laughs over it! There was also a duo playing very nice music and the lady singer sang beautifully - well Chateaubriand and thank you for a great stay. We would without any hesitation stay there again and looking forwards to it.

This is a hotel that has character and is good value for money. The family rooms are spacious and comfortable. The location within the walls is good, near the action but not as noisy late at night as in the narrower streets. We have stayed as a family and as a couple and will no doubt visit again.

we like this hotel. we will come back again. every thing was very good. just shower box couldn't keep water inside. we tried to make bath room tidy. it was very hard. please change the glass to a shower curtain. it will be better.
