It's an old building, where the full front windows used to open. It's been cleaned up pretty nicely. The nicest cheap place. Nice bathrooms. There is a 24 Hr IHOP attached. They sold a Kennedy Space Center day pass for $41, including taxes and fees. So it was cheaper than the starting price at the park. Not sure how often that deal exists.

The room was average. Clean and quiet. The staff was very professional, courteous, and attentive, especially the room maid. Always had my bed made & fresh towels and ammenities. Great value, made for a pleasant stay. The free continental breakfast was very much appreciated. and the hotel always had free coffee, including a coffemaker in the room. Location was great, near freeways but not downtown, so the neighborhood was quiet at night, and the restaurant, Petra, in front, gave 10% discount for hotel guests. Food there was good and very reasonably priced. Excellant, friendly service, even when very busy. The convenient dining was the highlight of this hotel experience.

All the hotel staff were Great. Very friendly & willing to help. That was a definite plus at the hotel. What I didn't like was the musky smell of the room that would not go away even with airing the room. The bedspreads & carpets just seem really old & need to be changed. The temp gage in my room also did not seem to work. Lastly, 2 people were placed next to my room on the last night that were extremely loud & did not stop being that way until about 3:30AM. It was a bad experience. But the receptionist did say to call the front desk next time & they would call the guests. So I appreciated that.
