Days Inn Washington DC Connecticut Avenue
4 out of 5

It is a very nice motel with big, clean rooms and its just 5 minutes to the metro. You can leave your bags for the day in the hotel, even if checked out allready! The Staff could be a lot more friendly! We really enjoyed the night!

Arrived late but the staff was there, friendly and with coffee :) Room was very clean and parking well lit. Will stay there again, whenever I am in DC. Now that I know how to traverse Connecticut Avenue :) I won't get lost next time.

Reasonably priced, no frills hotel. There is a coffee machine in the lobby but no on site restaurant. Not too far from the attractions via the Metro.

Staff were friendly and helpful, the neighborhood was safe and pleasant. The Metro station was a short walk (1 block) and right next to a coffee shop. The only thing really lacking was a breakfast restaurant nearby.

Good room, although a bit small. The people were great. Close to the metro. El Tesoro Restaurant (next to the hotel)... Excellent.

We found everything to be in order although there was a minor hicup with the number of nights we were booked for. However this was sorted out quickly and efficiently. The hotel is situated close to the subway and this is always a big plus for getting around cities. The staff were helpful although a little difficult to understand at times because of their english. All in all though no complaints about the hotel.

The hotel is a little way from the downtown area but is close to the Metro and there is no prblem getting anywhere from here. The rooms are of an average size and are comfortable. The wifi works well and they have a business service area where you can print if needed. Overall it is a good hotel in a good location at a good price.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and neat. The location was great...only 2 blocks from the Van Ness metro station. Lots of eateries around, as well as a grocery store and CVS. The food from the restaurant attached to the hotel was good, but not great; should've been better for the prices. Overall, a very nice hotel. Would definitely stay there again.

excellent, only 6 quick stops from the subway to downtown and only a five minute walk to the van ness station. Staff were very friendly and helpful as hotelclub had stuffed up and not sent my reservation through

I have stayed here twice, each time around July 4th, and both times have been great. The convenience to the Metro, the location, and the staff make it a good choice.

The hotel is a few miles from the city centre and as so is reasonably priced, bearing in mind the metro is only a short walk away and so the centre is easily accesible. Hotel doesnt do any food but there are food outlets within walking distance plus a good supermarket. Would stay here again.

I stayed here for one night. I wasn't allowed to check-in when I arrived at noon but they offered free storage for my luggage until check-in time. This hotel is about 5 minutes of a walk time from the Metro. There is a Subway, Burger King, and Quiznos nearby. Our room was very clean and good looking. The bathroom was very spacious and also good looking. Free internet was available at the room. There was a coffee machine and a free computer with a printer in the lobby. Overall, I think it very good value to Washington D.C. visitors. I would come here again.

I CAME TO DAYS INN AFTER MY STAY AT [DIFFERENT HOTEL] AND I MUST CONFESS THAT THERE IS NO MARKED DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE TWO HOTELS APART FROM EXTERNAL AESTHETICS. THE DAYS INN IS REALLY A FIRST CLASS HOTEL
