The first room to which we were assigned wreaked of smoke, although it was a non-smoking room. The second room, also non-smoking, also had a heavy odor of smoke. We remained in that room but went to the store to purchase an aerosol and stick air freshener to make the room liveable. Although, it was conveniently located to San Diego State University, where we attended a basketball tournament, we would not stay at that motel again.

First, the front desk clerks were friendly and helpful. However the management is not. I was in town to visit my mother in a nearby hospital. They changed my rate from promised rate and threatened to kicked me out of them room if I didnt pay them $11 more dollars a night. The room was overpriced anyway. I found a room nearby from a competitor for $30 less a night. The management is money hungy and lack customer service and retention skills. STAY AWAY.
