I would not stay again. Breakfast was pretty gross and the room stunk. The carpet was indeed disgusting and the kids and I had black feet from walking around barefoot in the room. I would pay a little more and stay somewhere else that is walking distance, a better breakfast, and cleaner . Didn't use the pool or the free shuttle (it left early) so that took two of the obvious perks away :(

This is not a fancy place to stay. It is pretty basic, and to be honest it's a peeve of mine when the sheets are so skimpily cut that they slide off the mattress at night. Pretty gross. However, for a family on a road trip who is taking the kids to Disney and the beach it was perfect. The breakfast, predictably, is pretty much all carbs, but hey, it was convenient and included in the cost of the stay. The breakfast staff was pleasant and helpful. Having the shuttle to and from the park was great, although it is only a van and it did fill up a couple of times on 11:35 run from the park to hotel. The driver was not proactive about helping the families with exhausted children to make sure they got a seat, but everything worked out all right, and given what we paid for the hotel, it was all still a darn good deal. I liked that the whole place was fairly small, so everything was nearby-- the pool, the laundry, the ice, the breakfast room. It was all accessible. We could see the disney fireworks from the walkway outside our room. It was easy to fill the cooler with ice, dry our beach towels, that kind of thing. I also loved that the rooms had decent sized fridges and microwaves. It made it easy to save money by having sandwiches for dinner sometimes. We only ate out one or two meals a day (in the parks). Our shower faucet leaked the whole time-- huge water waste. If you need a lot of comforts and a super-modern clean atmosphere, this isn't for you. But if you're toodling around with a couple of kids and enjoying the beach and the parks and need a decent place as home base, it's definitely functional. We stayed 4 days and would go again.

Our room was good for the price, clean and comfortable. i would definetly use them again. Overall good experience.

Great walk able location. Rooms were not great but just fine for a family stay to go to Disney

The hotel was nothing out of the ordinary and a typical motel style on two floors in a U shape. It was quite clean but the room was awfully dark as it had only one small window. The "suites" in the hotel name is a bit of a misnomer as the suite we had was just slightly larger than an average quad room. The pool was quite good, though, and the hot tub was quite nice to get into as a break between sessions at Disneyland and California adventure. All in all, good value but looks like it could use a bit of updating.
