They are so rude at the front desk . Be repaired to be asked for more money when you check in . They say its for a deposit on the room and you get it back when you check out , but you have to ask for it back . The rooms are very run down , TV didn't work , phone didn't work . They said no one could fix it and they didn't have time to . After a long day all I wanted to do was rest and check out a tv show . I could not get on the FREE WIFI they offer and when I went to the front desk to get help the very rude man said he can't help me . The free breakfast was nothing good . They kept running out of food and when I asked if they were going to refill I was told they were out . They even ran out of coffee . I had to keep going to the front desk to ask them to refill the breakfast bar and once again they were rude . What ever you do don't ask for towels . You will get ones that a stained and have holes . There is no parking. If you want to have a nice trip don't stay here !!!!

This Days Inn is privately owned. They require all patrons to post a $100 deposit prior to checking in to cover all damages. If you don't take the time the next morning to get a credit receipt, they will steal your deposit. Their internet router is terrible. It is so slow it is not usable. I do not recommend staying here. This was my second time at this hotel, going to a conference in Santa Clara. The hotel is close (by car) both to the San Jose airport and the Santa Clara convention center. I was pleased to make a second visit, because on the first visit I had my wife with me, and she left a piece of jewelry behind by mistake. After she called the hotel, it turned out that the maid had found it, and it was returned to my wife. Such an experience creates a positive feeling about the hotel! Another positive: The advertised wired internet connection actually works (well, better than in some other places, anyway). You can expect the occasional hole in the carpet, and the free breakfast may not be plentiful in the last hour, but that is par for the course at this price range.
