All things considered this hotel was fine for the price. It would be nice if it included free breakfast like many other Day's Inns, however I still was satisfied with my stay. The staff was friendly and helpful and the room was clean and comfortable but a little on the small side.

unfriendly staff and we got stuck with a smoking room since we booked on orbitz. had a horrible stay there.

Was on assignment from work. Flew into PHL. Hotel is a definite 8 miles from the airport. It is so many congested, stop and go traffic 8 miles from PHL, it should not be called Day's Inn Springfield/Phil Int'l Airport but simply Day's Inn Springfield. Even so, I liked that it wasn't a monster place, had friendly staff, and a comically comfortable onsite restaurant with the kind of menu selections and prices that attracts the locals. I went for the early bird dinner specials and was not disappointed. Portions are large. Their chocolate swirl cheesecake is fantastic. Breakfast is unfortunately not served until 8 a.m. Everything in the smallish but very comfortable rooms worked. I stayed in a second floor room. Felt very safe. Good value for the price even though it's a ways from the airport. It's in a good location though to go to points northwest of Philly, which is what I had to do on my trip.

The hotel was very nice for the price. I was in the area for a wedding and it was one of only two choices I had of places to stay. The check in staff was very friendly. I was happy to have wifi in my room. I would recommend it.
