The price was right for 1 or 2 days but the room was kind of narley. It was musty smelling. It took forever to get hot water for a shower and the towels were like car wash towels, rough and grungy. The staff was wonderful but it doesn't make up for the room. This place need TLC big time.

Amenities were all as promised. Location was excellent; we were 5 to 10 minutes drive from all destinations. Some negative comments; there was dirt & grime on the wall moldings in the bathroom; disgusting. The carpets were either very dark in color or needed scrubbing. Housekeeping did a GOOD JOB! Well, it was not as bad as Norman's place, but could sure use some maintenance. Stopped up sink, stained ceilings, from leaks above. The bed was comfy. would not bring the family here

Room very old and in need of repair. No vending or ice machine in building. Most bothersome was train whistle blowing for 10 minutes every two hours all night long. Just a place to sleep for one night nothing more.

The hotel is obviously seen better days but the staff do a great job at keeping it clean. The front desk is very courteous, friendly, lots of smiles, absolutely no problem checking in. The beds are quite comfy too, and the pool was clean. Bathrooms could have some work done but it's not terrible (unless you're extremely finicky, which my family wasn't). The hotel is a few short blocks from Downtown and is a great day walk to and from with the family. It's also very easy to get on and off the interstate ramp from the hotel so coming and going is a breeze. As with any hotel of this sort, stay safe at night, but we did not have any problems. For a budget trip with great location I would definitely recommend this hotel.
