Days Inn Montreal Downtown
3 out of 5

It's good location to downtown, you will need to walk a it 15 minutes to old Montreal. It's very convenient for airport transfer - airport link is just outside. However, the cleaniness of the hotel needs improvement - Hotel lobby is fishy smelly, hotel corridor is smoky smelly, only the room is ok. So, if you are looking for somewhere cheap and convenient to stay for the night, it will be a good choice!

At check in the attendant was busy answering a telephone call and paid little or no attention to us and never said the magic words of welcome to our hotel. The hotel is a significant distance from the metro and the town centre as we found to our chagrin. The room is of acceptable quality and our request for change of pillows was responded to positively. Room service was fine although food quality could be improved ... the plastic flower in the room did little to improve the ambience ... for the same price could find a better hotel in Montreal

The hotel was clean and comfortable but it is no 5 star. But a good price and location, I would book again because of the decent price, right next to saint catherine street and the restaurant in the hotel was actually pretty good.

Good location. Needed just to stay overnight. Room clean but with unpleasant smell. Quick check in and out., Staff OK , nothing special. Good value to stay for a day or two.

Have stayed here several times. The rooms are pleasant and the location is convenient. On this visit the radiator in the room didn't work, so there was no heat - it got chilly as the night went on. Biggest downside is that parking is 20 dollars.

We were well taken care of. The staff was courteous and responsive. The hotel is not grand, but is very nicely appointed and has a very good cafe/restaurant in the lobby. The strongest point is its location, which is near the Old Port section as well as the heart of downtown. Given quality, price and location, an excellent bargain.

The location of the Hotel is very good. The facilities correspond to the hotel standard. There is no assistance or help when unloading or loading the luggage. I recommend to install a breakfast buffet. Presently the service takes too long and the choice could be better.

A great, centrally located hotel...more than we expected for the price. Within easy walking distance from Chinatown, downtown & Vieu Montreal....we'd definitely stay here again!

The restauant was fine ( if not cheap)for breakfast but look elsewhere for other meals based on our one dinner there. Location is within 15 minutes walk of the old town, the latin quarter and metro stations, but has little to offer in terms of ambience.

We will definitely use this hotel in our next visit to Montréal. The location is great, right downtown. The room was wath we expected and needed; it was a junior suite. The staff was very courteous and accomodating. We definitely recommend this hotel. We will use it again no questions asked.
