This was like something out of a horror movie. I arrived in Miami from Ohio; and, this was such a bad hotel. In total, a twenty four hour hassle that I think Spielberg would want the rights to; if, it were a movie. Sadly, I was a woman travelling alone on a budget; and, never in my wildest dreams did I expect a place as sordid and squalid, as this to actually exist in Miami Florida, or anywhere else. The sheets had blood stains on them, the staff spoke something between English, and Spanish; but, never understood one concern I expressed for my personal safety, or the deplorable location. Does the Mayor's office know they are dealing drugs from the rooms? My room lay directly beneath the airport's flight plan, so "sleep" was out of the question. Upon calling obitz to have them rescue me the next day, even the, "manager of the hotel", would not identify himself by name (real or otherwise). Obitz, found me a two-star hotel in a different location after only one full day of begging to be re-booked, "anywhere" else. Thank heavens for south beach; but, goodbye to ever thinking, days inns carry any hint of familiarity. This days inn was a nightmare; and, whoa to the next orbiting customer who might think otherwise. South beach, two star, lovely at the same price and a one block walk to the beach. Go figure; but, don't go to the days inn Miami!

Well worth the price paid. Room very comfortable, bathroom very clean though a tad small. A flat screen TV was more than I expected so that was a welcomed bonus.

Unless you have a car don't go to this place, is in the midle of nowhere.

The only positive thing I can say about it was the free pick-up at the airport and delivery to the port for a cruise. Otherwise it was dirty, older than dirt, they tried to put us in a room with a double bed when the reservation was clearly for a queen. The door key didn't work. It was overall dumpy.
