Days Inn Hicksville Long Island Guest Reviews
The king size bed felt and sounded like it was from the sixties. Literally unpadded springs which squeaked at every move. There wasn't any sound proofing between floors, you hear everything from the people above you and I mean everything. The bathroom was new and clean but no place to put toiletries, some towels were dirty. The room for the continental breakfast was old, dirty and cramped. The only good thing about this place was the staff.

At Last, a motel on Long Island that is actually worth what it charges. Best value I've found in 6 weeks of traveling around New York

Location is half a mile from nearest public transport which is necessary to reach rail station for City Centre. Train journey to Penn Station takes approx 45 mins - weekly or 10-trip tickets available.

Room was quite good and comfortable! The heater was used in bad way and therefore dirty! The personell at the hotel reception not so helpful. No internet access. The most important: The hotel is located in a very isolated area in the centre of Long Island! If you don't have a car, avoid this particular hotel! Although there is the choice og hiring cabs....
