My non-smoking room stank of stale smoke. I've had this before in Beijing and it ruined what would have been a perfectly acceptable stay. I would have changed rooms but it was the only one available.

This is my first trip to Beijing with my husband. Days Inn is about 10mins walk to the Forbidden City and subway station. Location is good and subway nearby, we were able to visit most of the tourists attractions like the Forbidden City, Tainamen Sq, Temple of Heaven, the Summer palace and Baidaling Great Wall. There are 2 restaurants outside the hotel, a chinese Hakka food and homecook food. Security, cleanliness and public toilets are no problem. The room is quite dim at night, it will be great to add more lighting.

Perfect Location within walking distance of Tiananmen Square and Wangfujing Street. Comfortable, modern hotel. Excellent buffet breakfast.

this is a great location, near sights, shopping and restaurants. its clean and most of the staff is willing to help, and help you book tours of great wall, etc. the restaurant downstairs, while a bit pricey for lunch, is convenient and a good value for breakfast. If you venture to other parts of the city to go to bars or restaurants using cabs, know that the cab drivers will try to rip you off (80-100 rmb) to get back to this location, even when it only was 25 to get there...
