Well when we got to the airport, we waited 25 mins for the shuttle. When the shuttle came, the lady was on the phone and although we knocked on the window, she almost acted like she didn't see us. When we finally got in, she wouldn't leave. She called and said that they didnt find our reservation and suggested we booked the other Days Inn hotel. The one without a shuttle. How stupid is that? Because we were the ONLY people who called them 25 MINS AGO to pick us up!!! Anyway after sitting for nearly 20 mins we took off. Took 20 mins to get to the hotel. Then we checked in. NO ELEVATOR. Got our room... no water, bed and pillows HARD, ONLY 2 ELECTRIC PLUGS (and mind you they were unstable, i thought i would have electrocuted myself). Then the water tastes and smells like feces. No drinking water except in the vending machines downstairs. Thank goodness for mcdonalds that's one minute walk away. I just needed a place to crash... I got what i paid for!!! SMH

never again will i ever stay at a days inn anywhere. would rather pay double anywhere else!! especially this one!!!!

The hotel is in a great location for Chicago. Friendly staff, who are very helpful.

thought we booked a non smoking room but apparently it was just a "special request," therefore we got stuck with a nasty smelly smoke filled room. I had no idea a "smoking" room was even an option, but i guess it is in not very nice hotels. besides that, the hallways smelt, the shower curtain had a nasty stain on it and the corners of the room looked like they haven't vacuumed it in awhile. booked the room for 2 days but only stayed for 1. there was no way i was going back to that room, even if it meant wasting money. you get what you pay for i guess. next time i'm going to spend an extra $50 a night and go somewhere better.
