Days Inn And Suites Santa Barbara Guest Reviews
Nothing very exciting. Stayed at this hotel because it was cheap, close to State Street, and available. We tried to get a late check-out, which was flatly denied. No major issues. The room was comfortable and everything was decent. I would recommend it if you're on a budget.

Noisy, so-so cleanliness, could use a coat of paint, mediocre continental breakfast (limited to coffee and danish), bed was worn out years ago, location not convenient to anything. Not comfortable, not relaxing. I can't comprehend how it could be rated three diamonds by AAA. I would rate it one diamond. Hotel staff very friendly and helpful.

Check in was easy and quick. Rates were better than most in the area. Close enough to all the nightlife of State St. Room was ordinary, but clean. Staff was helpful and polite. Would stay again. Free interenet!

I went to see a Steely Dan show in Santa Barbara. After researching the high cost of lodging in the area, I decided on a deal with [...] at the Days Inn. The building looked to be around 50 years old. It wasn't in terribly bad shape, but it didn't look like it was worth the nightly charge either. I first was checked into a room with a failing air conditioner. After a couple of hours, I complained to the management and they gave me a new room. Allegedly, I should have never been given the original room I was issued. The new room was only slightly better. The air conditioner worked, but not to my standards. I guess being from Las Vegas, I require an air conditioner that can really pump out the cold air. That second air conditioner wouldn't last a day in Vegas. I checked out the next morning and headed back to Vegas. Overall, it was okay, but I am not so sure I would stay there again. Santa Barbara is awfully expensive.

Bit basic but room was large and fine for a nights stay
