We were there for a wedding. The staff did very well and excelled for the weddig. The resort is very good and the location excellent. We are familiar with the Whitsunday region and find it most enjoyable. We were most happy with our stay

This is a nice holiday location. If all you want to do is relax and have a good time, then you will (weather permitting). The only thing letting the resort down is the food availability/range/quality etc for lunch or dinner. Food for breakfast is fantastic. Staff were always friendly. Rooms were of a good size, would have been better if it included a good tv. The few austar channels were a plus on the rainy days.

We arrived over an hour after the official check in time of 2pm and our room was still not ready. We were kept waiting for over 1/2 hour before our room was ready and no real apology was offered. The resort is very full of families and extremely busy. Although the location is nice, if I was going back to the Whitsundays I would pay extra to stay somewhere else.

This resort is for families with young children. It's not great for adults. Long past it's sell-by date.

Best Island I have stayed on. Food needs to have more variety and the ferry cost is a rip off but not the islands fault. Spend the extra and get a balcony room or suite though. The outdoor cinema is an excellent thing. I would say a perfect getaway.

Not so good things are *One day the room was not 'serviced' until call made at approx 1600 hrs with a request to service. *internal walls dirty *a number of room charges were made to our account incorrectly, mix up with the room number however this was resolved by checking dockets. Good things *awesome location and weather *plenty of space to relax or go for walks, runs, snorkels *staff are all very friendly *Breakfast is good value with lots of choice *Very willing to cater for diet requirements General comments *kids are catered for but solong as you are semi tolerant it won't bother you, there are seperate dining facilities for the childless *to get to the island is very expensive *its worth going to for an aniversary or special trip away *loverly manicured gardens

Had a fabulous time, we did our research and was exactly what we expected. Lots to do and place was bustling but not overcrowded compared with Sth Molle Island which was empty. Family resort with kids but that didn't bother us, we are 3 young couples. Lack of variety of food was our only gripe.. 3 dining places mainly serving fish&chips, steak, pizza.. need more variety like chinese, japanese, mexican etc

The resort is obviously very family, particularly children, friendly. There is also a great ability for those of us without children to enjoy the facilities without bother. For example the "Quiet Breakfast Room".

Had a great time. Only wish that the Tavern was open during our stay. Functions do limit your choices of dining and swimming on the island.

Food at the Fish Bowl tavern was abysmal. I wouldn't expect a rusty bath and sink in a 4.5 star resort and the corridor outside our room wasn't cleaned throughout our stay. Other than that, great location, lots to do and staff very friendly. Food elsewhere was very good and buffett breakfast was excellent.

The "Spa" is beautiful with very proffessional service Evening dining is lacking experience, as the choice is quite limited The beach is not nice as its coral based which is a pitty as the ocean is so beautiful Great place if you have kids (we don't)

We stayed at the resort for 3 nights in early August. Our room was very spacious with a view towards the pool area and wallabies grazing in front of our terrace at dusk. The resort is very family oriented and the lay-out is great. As with many resorts, the only negative point was the buffet dinner which was over-priced and tasteless.
