Location
Ideally located in the centre of the marvellous city of Budapest, this splendid property is in the calm and picturesque surroundings of Margaret Island Margitsziget, which is the island of park gardens lying in the middle of the River Danube and only minutes away from the centre of the Hungary's capital.

The hotel location is definitely not 900m from the centre as advertised. The Spa was very good, however the room had a central heating stuck in full on position and after enquiring on the reception I was advised to put the AC on. This obviously led to one side of the room being overheated and other frozen. We ended up sleeping with windows opened, which was both noisy and uncomfortable. The staff didnt reflect our complains and didnt change the room

The location of the hotel is not easy if you want to go back and forth between the center of Budapest and the city, but it is beautiful as it is located on Margitsziget Island. Unfortunately, it rained the whole time I was there and then this location is really bad. Spa facilities are very good and the restaurant and bar are fine. Internet is NOT FREE and I had occasional connection issues from my room. I would consider staying here again if travelling with my wife, but probably will not choose it again for business trips.
