My daughter and I were very pleased with the Cumulus and particularly grateful for the attentiveness, politeness and kindness of the staff at reception. A great welcome to Finland for first time visitors. The breakfast was excellent and kept us going; eating out in Helsinki is prohibitively expensive!

It is a very clean and simple hotel. It is located between the down town (40minutes walking) and the Finnexpo (Exhibition), even if it can look like old from the street, inside is very well equipped.

The hotel is located rather far away from the city center (the railway station) which may be not very convenient. Unlike some cities in Europe, the area around the railway station in Helsinki is not a bad district, so it makes sense to look for a hotel nearer to the center. The hotel has a free sauna but no ice or drinks vending machines. There were no refrigerator or mini-bar in the room. Breakfast was rather good. In general, it's a good place to stay but it lacks some facilities that you'd expect to find in 4* and the location is not the best.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Rooms well equipped and well illuminated for work.

Good hotel, generally, but no Lobby area and rather old which doesn't make it look like 4 *.There is no hotel breakfast room but the restaurant next door is used for it. No concierge either and reception staff too busy to assist properly.
