Cuevas de Pedro Antonio de Alarcon Hotel is a cave complex, located in the area of Guadix, at the entrance of the National Road N-342, between the city and the motorway. The railway station is nearby and city centre is about a kilometre away.

Each cave has beautiful views over the historical city of Guadix and the breathtaking Sierra Nevada, in the background.

very surprising location, in the midst of one of guadix cave barrios a pity that the highway is so near, practically in your garden a very nice hotel to spend one or two nights, not a whole week ! swimming pool, very nice and typical restaurant, good price quality and local food when you arrive in guadix, coming from highway, take to the left, city center is to the right

This was our 2nd visit, The apartments are in caves and these are really cool & clean - best nights sleep we had in 2 weeks in Spain! Easy to access the pool is just alongside the motorway but it still felt like getting away from it all. If your idea of heaven is an ice cold pool as an antidote to the Spanish sun, dark, cool bedrooms & simple pleasures this is the place. Whilst Guadix is a simple unprepossessing town for an order of 4 cold beers we had the best serrano ham & bread I've tasted thrown in at no exctra cost - a wonderfully Spanish escape from the costas!
