All was ok. Found SLC hotels a little overpriced in general. Recommend that all Crystal Inns serve their hot breakfast until 10 am daily - that would boost them up on a higher grade. What is good - includes dinners at hotel you can heat up in room using micro/fridge. Really good idea for on the road travellers who want to eat in.

When I got there, they already sold my room to someone else. They said that they did not have my resevation somehow. Then I showed them the reservation info, they offered me another hotel 3.5hrs away from there. I asked them to give me refund. They said that they don't know how much I paid. And usually the coporate price is between $50-$70 per room. I took 1.5 hrs to fight with them in order to get the money back and end up spend a night outside the street with my children. All the hotel was sold out on that night.

Attended Outdoor Retailer. Inn did not have shuttle to the event downtown which made it a bit of a hassle to get there. But as of today SLC has extended the light rail tracks to a station just a five minute walk from the Inn, making it all so simple. If all the good deals downtown are gone, the Crystal Inn's great rate is worth having to take a simple 15 minute train ride. Room was spacious, comfy and clean. Staff thoughtfully put noisy guests with teens attending sporting camps on first floor, folks wanting quiet on floors above.
