Crowne Plaza Lijiang Ancient Town Hotel Guest Reviews
We were impressed with the lobby upon our arrival and the route to our room was even more impressive. The hotel in itself could have been a tourist attraction on it's own! The hotel was built at the perimeter of the Lijiang Ancient Town and it's architectural style blended with the ancient town perfectly. From the courtyard, we could see the famous snow mountain in the backdrop and a man-made vintage looking water-wheel just made the entire first impression the most most memorable one for us. We were upgraded into a Deluxe Room and it was so magnificient we almost didn't want to go out of the room everyday. The window facing the bed had the scene of trees in autumn/early winter with red leaves which were beginning to fall. It was a nice scene to be greeted to first thing waking up in the cold winter morning. The staff were friendly and the most obliging and polite. Their service to our calls were very prompt and at times so prompt it shocked us (pleasantly of course!).
