The hotel is within walking distance to the old bazaar. The included breakfast was very good. Take the tramway to the museum. Taxi fares are negotiable.

My wife and I were booked into what was described as a luxury boutique hotel in Istanbul that turned out to be awful so I turned on the laptop looked at good old ebookers and found this great hotel to transfer to. Booking couldn't have been easier. Jumped in a taxi and there we were, welcomed and looked after wonderfully. A fabulous room, jaccuzi bath and all, extremely well appointed complimentary tea coffee water etc 2 good TV's memory foam mattress and pillows humungous bathroom well lit well tidy and well nigh perfect, Staff were an example of how they should be, nothing too much trouble, brilliant aircon ( unlike most others it blew cold air out Hooray!!) really nice place that I wanted to extend my stay. great location right near the trams and all the sights were easy to get to, easy transfer back to airport in a clean nice Merc too. recommend it wholeheartedly, great place!

This hotel proved an excellent choice for us. It is very well positioned on the central tramline which transports one in only a few stops to the heart of the Sultanahmed district where the main sights like the Hagia Sophia, the Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace and undergorund Cistern are to be found. The hotel is elegant and smart, the service was good and the breakfast was excellent (in a Moslem country no bacon, of course!).

A really overall good hotel for the price we paid. Room was very clean on arrival and was cleaned well everyday. We were provided with complimentary mineral water everyday which I thought was very good. The rooms were a little on the small side but for a couple it was just about adequate. Our room was not facing the main road but I reckon that if your room was you would get a lot of traffic noise The swimming pool, sauna and jacuzzi were great. The location was a two minute walk from the university tram stop which meant you could get around town very easily. Grand Bazaar was a fifteen minute leisurely walk. I would definietly recommend this hotel. On the way to the tram stop there is a turkish delight sjhop called Koska very good and resonably priced turkish delight, honey and baklawa.

The interior design of the hotel is a majestic one. The staff are kind. The location in the old city which close to the historical area and close to the shoping area (for those who buy in quantities) makes it wonderful. However, the breakfast is not of a crowneplaza standard. It is barely a 3stars standard as compared with istanbul 4 and 5 stars hotels.
