We stayed at a two bedroom apartement for one night. The room is good size with quite comfotable beds. However the restaurant is NO good at all. The duck leds and sausages were very salty, and the bird(chichen?) was half cookd so we had to sent it back to the kitchen.

We stayed one night after a wineries tour. As two couples the two bedroom villa was clean and very spacious with great bathrooms for those necessary showers. Would highly recommend this as central to all Hunter Valley Attractions. We went out in the evening for dinner, however, and had to wait over an hour to get a taxi back from the Hunter Valley Gardens (not the hotel's fault). I would plan my transportation more carefully next time.

The information from the website was accurate, The view is nice & peaceful. Good location to the cellors. Wine yard tour is excellent. The most important thing for me to stay next time is price was great, room was very nice and clean and overall very happy with my stay there. Dining in the hotel is a good choice because the food is yummy!

I would stay again, rooms were big and comfortable and the outlook was very nice as well. the only negative comment was the overpriced breakfast with no coffee shop alternative..2 breakfasts cost almost 50% as much as the room cost..They need a coffee shop with muffins and sandwiches..

After arriving late afternoon we were showed our room. what a surprise - the room(s) were enormous. Self contained facilities was a bonus. plenty of space for all four of us in two separate rooms. Bit of a distance to the resort bars etc. but a call to reception sent a golf buggy to our rescue both to and from. Restaurant was booked out early for our numbers so get in early to book. however we had an acceptable meal downstairs and with good service. Same for breakfast the next day. Definitely will stay there again.

Like all accomodation in Pokolbin, you have to purchase 2 x nights to get a "reasonable" deal. The hotel room smelt very bad from a mixture of cigarette smoke (filtering thru the corridors) and what I can only surmise as something dead in the air conditioning system. It rained the entire weekend so that didn't help. Pool looked fantastic. Room very average for the price you paid. It was small, nothing special. I think with the golf course attached, it tends to cater for all the guys that stay there rather than couples away for a weekend. Would never recommend.

We loved our two night stay. Room was beautifully decorated and bed very comfortable. We chose the degustation menu at Red Salt and it was a fantastic experience. All the staff we encountered were super efficient and seemed to enjoy their jobs. We will definitely stay again - but for longer next time.

I could not fault this hotel at all. It was centrally located to all the wineries and city centre. Had dinner at red salt even though it was pricy it was well worth every cent. The spa is amazing and i would highly recommend it if you have the time and some spare money. The room was spotless and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. If your ever in the area i would recommend stay here.

Stayed here for one night this week. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful.Front desk staff go out of their way to assist. Whilst dining at "Red Salt " restaurant is a little expensive the quality of food is of very high standard. Would stay here again.

Excellent facilities and location. Service excellent and restaurant quality excellent. Only drawback is no undercover parking and limited parking some distance from the actual hotel which is a pain sometimes in bad weather.
