Often stayed at this hotel and the grounds, position and atmosphere have always been good, quite a busy hotel with high floors.....

Excellent hotel and location for show at SECC. Only downfall was trying to book the restaurant at 9.20pm when it said it closed at 10pm. We were directed to the bar area but about 30 people were waiting to be served and there were no seats available. We walked 10minutes to another restaurant!

It was a fine example of the type. More expensive than I'd usually choose, but in the perfect location as we were arriving at the jetty on the Clyde which is right outside the hotel. Only downsides we remember were the bar staff who got completely confused about our dinner order and charging us for it - but they apologised nicely and rectified it quickly; and pillows all too big and bouncy - nicer to have some like that and some a bit more floppy. Oh and there were 7 sachets of decaff and no caffeinated coffee with the kettle. As usual not enough milk.

Very convenient for SSEC and fairly close to City Centre. Tile grouting in bathroom needs looked at. Bedrooms are nice and fresh and clean. Lounge bar area a bit bright and needs updated.

Staff were very busy and not very helpful especially at check in and check out. Hotel had everything that was needed and comfortable, but I would have thought twice to ask for anything extra if needed. Probably wouldnt stay again unless going to a concert.

Only problem I had was getting the air conditionoing to cool the room to a satisfactory temperature.

overall good for the price, but have to ask why a hotel of this size and indeed a business hotel cannot offer free wi-fi access to clients during there stay, surely basic in this day, this was quite disappointing and would make me less likely to stay again

it was the cleanliness of the public areas that were a particular problem. The large areas of glass which should have afforded a beautiful a beautiful view were very mucky and the carpet left a bit to be desired.

Location was excellent as we were attending a concert at the SECC. Room was very confortable with modern furnishings. I used the swimming pool on two occasions and was very impressed with the facilities. Breakfast was excellent. Will definitely stay again when attending a conceert at the SECC or Armadillo.

Enjoyed the use of the Club Lounge on floor 15 with my room package. Canopes and wine in the evening and free continental breakfast were nice to have. Would have like to see a state of the art gym in such a hotel. The gym was tiny with limited equipment.

Although a lot of money has been invested in the decoration and renovation of the hotel rooms and public areas there is still very much a problem with the air conditioning. We have stayed at this hotel now for the last 8 years as we attend a charity function held annually and although the rooms are an improvement, the air conditioning still does not function adequately. It is always unbearably hot in the rooms irrespective what setting you have the air conditioning on at. Our experience on this occasion was spoilt by the housekeeping team continually trying to enter our room on a Sunday morning starting at 8.40 and even when we were just about to vacate the room they opened the door and walked in when we were still there. Surely Reception and Housekeeping should speak to each other to make each other aware when a room has been vacated. Check out on Sunday is 12.00 and feel that we should be able to spend time in the room with out continual disturbance from Housekeeping.

I use the Crowne Plaza if available when in Glasgow either for business and or pleasure. It is reasonably central and of a high standard. Never disappointed.

this hotel gives a very different view of glasgow which I loved. You do need a car but it is 5 minutes from the centre--ask for a river view room and look out for deal.

Very reasonably priced for the standard of the hotel. Rooms not huge but more than adaquate for short stay to attend a conference. Had a very good meal in the resteraunt which was reasonably priced. Would recommend it to anyone attending a conference in the conference centre next door.

Good location as I was attending a conference. Would have been more awkward if needed shops, restaurants etc. Had a leak in the bathroom on return to room at 11.30pm but dealt with efficiently and moved rooms.
