Not a bad place, pretty typical format for a hotel near a large airport. Costs for staying are room (through your site) and then a lot extra inside the hotel. Everything needs to be paid for: breakfast, internet, parking, etc. So not always a great deal. Remember this place is far from Amsterdam so when taking taxi into town expect to pay €60 or up one way.

My Daughter and I had a 24 hour layover in Amsterdam built in to our travel schedule and we wanted to visit Anne Frank's House in the city center plus be located close to the airport for an easy departure trans atlantic the next day. The Crown Plaza fit the bill for us. You have to go to hotel shuttle pick up area for a free ride to the hotel (there is a push button phone to call during off schedule times) There is a 7-8 Euro fee for the return trip. When we checked in there were no rooms left with two beds so they offered an upgrade to a two room suite. Very nice. Staff was helpful with directions to train station (within 10 minute walk) to travel down town. they also advised us of a shortened train schedule due to it being New Year's Eve. We were able to see all we wanted in the down town area and return to a comfortable clean room. I am not sure why but we did receive complimentary return airport shuttle tickets which just added to an already great hotel experience.
