Crown Promenade is positioned on Great Eastern Highway by the Swan River in Burswood, Perth, close to the train station and seven kilometres to the airport. Holidaymakers stroll along the riverside or hang out at Kings Park to relax.

Although this hotel is in a great location it is in need of a huge make over. It is looking very tired with very little to offer. The price was exuberant for such a small, old room. I will not stay there again especially when comparing it to the crown hotel next door.

My partner and I stayed at the Holiday Inn Burswood to couple our tickets to the Mary Poppins show. The service from the staff was very friendly and genuine. The room was a lovely size and the bed was very comfy. We had no view - only the staff carpark and the surrounding rooms. However, noone could see into us and there were some small glimpses of the city. I found our room was not well cleaned. There were hairs from the previous occupants in the bathroom and the shower looked like it had some built on grime. Overall though, it was a good stay. I would say though that the price is far too high for what you are getting. I have stayed in hotels in the city with just as many stars and just as nice for a lot less. It is only a short taxi ride from Perth and if you are happy to get to Burswood that way, rather than stay in the complex, I would recommend doing so (the Hyatt is only a few minutes away and we have enjoyed that very much. Buffet breakfast after your stay there is a must!)

Stayed in Holiday Inn after a night at the theatre to see Wicked, great idea, we had a lovely evening and a great sleep, very comfy bed. Hope we can do it again sometime.
