Crown Moran Hotel London
4 out of 5

This hotel is a little out of the way if you are aiming for centrAl London but so long as you don't mind a bus ride, either to Oxford street or to Kilburn tube it's fine. Took me about twenty mins on public transport to get to central London, and an hour to get to old street, where I was headed. The buses into centrAl London stop right outside the hotel. The hotel is not in the most salubrious of areas, but it was ok. There are plenty of restaurants nearby as well as fast food places. The hotel is big, and very clean. All the communal areas are spotless and finished to a high standard. The pool was small, but quiet and very well-maintained. My room was a good size, though a little tired. The tables especially were rather worn around the edges, and the tv was ancient. The bed was fantastically comfortable and the lighting was good. Room cleanliness was of a good standard. The carpets in the hall and my room would benefit from a refresh or update. The bathroom was modern looking and pristine. Nice toiletries. I ate in the bar one night but wasn't impressed with the food and wouldn't bother again. The room service menu was very reasonable though. I would stay there again for business but not for leisure.

We often stay here, it is one of the best most reasonably priced hotels for access to London. Bus service brilliant, right outside the hotel and direct to Oxford Street. The only gripe I have is it is always cold in the room but does eventually warm up once you turn the heating up but too noisy to leave on all night then cold in the morning again. I would prefer not to have plastic on top of the mattress either but that apart all other aspects brilliant.

lovely hotel at a bargain price just a bad location unfortunately. Its rooms and bar make up for it though and like its london counterpart in Chiswick give you great value for money. Staff at the hotel are a little disintreasted but not all and again function but don't expect to be told to "have a nice day"

The hotel was conveniently located for our stay (we were attending a concert in Kentish Town, two stops away on National Rail), the room was big and very comfortable, and the guest-only swimming pool was a huge bonus. We used the pool on the day of arrival, and the next day after breakfast before departure. We only paid £56 for the room, which was brilliant value for a hotel with these amenities in easy reach of central London. If you HAVE to be able to walk to London's main tourist attractions (some people have a bizarre aversion to a little bit of public transport) then this is not for you, otherwise highly recommended.

An unexpected treasure in an unlikely but convenient location. Great hotel plus the convenience of secure car parking for those travelling to London on four wheels. Not too long a walk (12 mins) to the nearest Underground station (Kilburn). Good combination of a modern edifice imaginatively attached to a grand Edwardian hostelry building.

At first disappointing as we did NOT get the Walk-in Shower I specifically requested for my husband, who due to rheumatoid arthrites has mobility issues. I phoned the v capable Russian Receptionist, who though he was incredibly busy with an on-going Fri afternoon wedding & numerous check-ins said he would check with the housekeeper. I spoke to the housekeeper who said they did not have the type of room we requested but we could move the following day. That was not practical as we needed to attend the Church for the Wedding. (Reason for our visit) hence there was not sufficient time to arrange the move. Other than the mobility issues, which were a distinct problem, the room was quiet & comfortable. The dining-room was v crowded, seemed like it was much too small for the size of the Hotel, but the breakfast was adequate. The Wedding canapes were delicious & plentiful, followed by a tasty well presented meal - a very comfortable spacious venue for guests to enjoy the proceedings. Considering the busy area of Cricklewood Broadway, the Crown Moran excels in, with some minor exceptions, arranging a very good Wedding Venue.

My entire family had an absolutely superb time. I think we all wished we had stayed longer. Once inside the hotel it felt like we had gone abroad to a luxurious location. The food in the restaurant was great, the ambiance was great, the staff were great!!!! We'll definitely be returning there.

I really enjoyed the Crown Moran Hotel,Cricklewood, although the area it is situated is not glamorous with trendy cafes,it is very friendly and I felt very relaxed. It is a great location for travelling into the city. The hotel is lovely with a pool and the meal we had in the restaurant is the best steak we have had for ages. Also we had an excellent Irish Brekfast in a lovely spacious dining room. I'd really recommend it.

Had my wedding here and stayed the night before as well. The service was excellent and the rooms were good quality with all the facilities you might need. The staff were exceptionally helpful and polite. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants something a little different from the norm with good transport links.

Have rated location as average because it is not in central London but it was not a problem because there is a bus stop outside hotel and tube staion is 15 minute walk away. I really liked the hotel and the staff were friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay there again.

I would gladly recommend this hotel to anyone. The staff are very friendly. The room we had was located in a quiet part of the hotel, which is what we wanted, and we loved it. Will be going back for a weekend break again.
