it was great, considering I know the city it was very convenient to travel back and forth between downtown DC and Capital Hill in general

Very close to all monuments/museums. Starbucks, Subway, Five Guys and CVS are in the adjacent block. The metro station is very close but we were 4 ppl and it was cold and raining so we preferred Cab. Did not spend more than 15$ every time I used a Cab - it was convinient. Parking was 25$ and very cramped. I left the car in the parking thin king it will be tough to drive around and find parking spots close to monuments, but realized it wasnt that bad. Front desk lady was pleasant to talk to. The lady taking care of the kitchen sounded rude, breakfast is expensive at the hotel. Room was comfy - used the coffee machine a lot.

The staff were helpful. The made to order omelets were a nice touch. The room had everything we needed and was comfortable.
