I stayed at the Marriott Courtyard in LaGuardia for business. The location relative to the airport and car rental agencies was great. The service was excellent as the hotel staff provide recommendations for local restaurants - which were very good.

We stayed at this hotel due to it location to a funeral in Manhattan and since we formerly lived in Queens, NY. The hotel is located just across the highway from LaGuardia Airport and while our room had a great view of the airport runway, we never had a problem with jet noise. The room was very nice and clean with one MAJOR exception. The cleaning staff failed to remove the prior guest's wet towel & shower cap that was hanging on the bathroom door! The front desk did try to make up for this by offering us another room (which we didn't take) & providing free breakfest at their cafe/restaurant which has a good staff but was only average. The front desk staff was very nice & cordial but on calling them on three separate occasions, it took OVER 10 times before they answered the phone. WARNING: THE HOTEL PARKING LOT CHARGES GUESTS A HOURLY RATE WITH A MAXIUMUM RATE OF $22.00 PER DAY, FOR A TOTAL OF $66.00 THAT HAD TO BE PAID ALL AT ONCE. This is very high rate for this hotel level and should been free given the high room rates. Overall, this hotel could easily been given a four star rating as we had a good stay but it could have been sooooo much better. We can only GRUDGING recommend this hotel due to these problems and the high parking rates.
