Courtyard Nashville Downtown Guest Reviews
When I arrived, I requested a king bed room. First, I was told that I couldn't ask for a king room because I booked through orbitz. I had never had this experience at any other hotel so I asked for the manager. The manager told me that there was a king available for 1 of the 2 nights I booked. However, she would not even give me the option of changing rooms because she was not able to "bill" a king room because I booked through Orbitz. She was not apologetic and did not offer any solution to the problem. My boyfriend also talked with her about this. She told him that if Orbitz would give them the billing code they could change to a king. I called Orbitz who called the hotel. The hotel told Orbitz they did not have a king room until Monday. Then I called Marriott customer service to complain. The customer service was also rude to me and told me that I couldn't have what I wanted. She also told me to call Orbitz and tell them to cancel the 2 bed researvation and put it in again as a king. I called orbitz back and told them the information given to me by the customer service person. The Orbtiz person called the hotel again to fulfill my request. The orbitz person was told by the hotel that no king was available. This whole ordeal took about 1.5-2 hours. At no time did the hotel staff try to offer any alternative or any offer any condolances for not meeting my expecations. I have never had a hotel not give me a king bed simply because I booked through a third party. The rate for a 2 bed and king bed are the same so I don't understand how the billing code was such a big deal. Also, I checked the Marriott website and I paid the same rate with orbitz as the one on the Marriott website (which was NOT cheap) so it was not like they made a lot less money on my room. This hotel has the worst customer service that I have come in contact with. I usually stay at 4 star hotels and this experience made me realize why I should stick to that practice.

Great location and very clean/comfortable. A little on the pricey side, but maybe it was just the weekend we were in town.

My Wife and I stayed here for the Wilco Show at The Ryman. PERFECT LOCATION. It was one block from the Ryman and Broadway. Good Place, highly recommended
