Courtyard King Kamehameha's Kona Beach Hotel

This was our second time to Kona and last time we stayed out of town. This time we stayed in this hotel for its location in town and close to the pier for day trips and ali' drive for the shopping and restaurants. The room was clean and comfortable and the free wifi was great. Would stay here again.

The hotel overall was very good. It was pretty good size, they have their own pool and spa. If you don't care about the price much, the restaurant in the hotel offers some good seafood. Recommaned!!!!

Awesome, love every bit of it. Also the most comfortable bed i have ever slept in, I wanted to bring it home with me!!! Everything was within walking distance which made it great , only drove when we wanted to visit the rest of the Island.

Wonderful room with a nice view and very clean. Friendly staff with one exception at the front desk when asked about the out of service hot tub(fixed the next day). The only real complaint was the free wireless intranet didn't always work in the room and occasionally we had to go into the hallway or lobby to get a good signal. All in all, we were very happy with the room, it's staff, and location.

Hotel was nice, but under re-construction. Staff was very pleasant. Did NOT appreciate having to pay $10.40 per day for parking. Scheduled luau @ King Kamehameha, but was sent some 20 miles down the highway to Sheraton, with no compensation or explaination. Most upset with Hotel which charged us $25.00 for a two hour late check out, which was necessary after snorkle trip. That's rediculous! I would not recommend this Hotel to anyone!!

well, the room that we were in was a little humid and took a little time to cool down. restoration was being done on the fist floor because of the tsunami. overall, okay. did not hang around the hotel that much, out doing stuff. bathroom looks nice, shower head is a little low. good location spot, in the tourist/downtown district.

We enjoyed our stay at the King Kam but would probably not return. It is not a posh resort like those on the Kohala coast but the renovated rooms are nice and the small beach is a bonus. Spring for the ocean view because the view of the road and the ABC store stinks. The pool area is mediocre but take advantage of the great snorkeling around the hut. Being a couple in our late 30's we may have outgrown this hotel.

Highly recommend if staying on the big island. Great access to small beach, shopping area and tourist strp of Kona. Rooms were great with excellent outlook onto magnificent sunsets.

the hotel is in a prime location but is extremely run down. Grey water backing up throught the bath pipes, flaking paint. The bedding was worn and at over $200 per night it was extremely expensive for such a poor facility
