Really friendly and helpful staff. The room was very clean and the location very convientent for a one day business trip.

We were stopping through on our way to somewhere else. The overall decor and appearance of the hotel was very nice. "Swanky" as one of my friends put it. I liked that part a lot. However, I failed to notice that there was no complimentary breakfast. The bistro was available to purchase food from, and it was good, but I appreciate the complimentary breakfast as well. Also, there really were NO restaurants to eat in within walking distance which I thought was a disadvantage, though it's not really Marriott's fault.

We went to visit Southern Methodist University for our son. Very close to University- 10 minutes max. Very close to downtown as well. The hotel was very clean, and accommodating. Only drawback was that they did not clean the room while we were out during the day. We had to ask for them to send housekeeping, at around 8 pm. When we arrived- room was very clean. Rooms are very small- but clean and modern. Also front desk not that aware of nearby towns- they have printed directions and information. Do your homework re: sites to see, etc. If our son attends SMU, we will be staying there regularly.
