I would expect much more from courtyard. The room was very small, not well thoughtout floor design. The third floor room was very noisy, from the icemachine in the hall and the outside traffic noise all night long. The food was very poor quality and roomservice was not available on sundays. There was a pool in the basement that I was afraid to use because of lack of propper maintenance. There are other nearby hotels that I plan to try in the future. I asked for a late chechout and was told that they were unable to comply because the maid goes home at 3pm. The bed was very uncomfortable as were the pillows.

Great location in Embassy row, beautiful buildings and short walk to the White House. Room was a good size and clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The we loved the complimentary cookies and coffee bar. The adjoining restaurant was excellent for a special dinner. Many restaurants less than 15 minutes away by walking. We will stay again.

Hotel is in good location. Walking distance almost everywhere. Nice clean rooms. Soft bed and pillows. The staff is very helpful.
