Location

We had a great 5 nights stay at Courtyard Mariott. It was a nice to be away from the hustle and bustle from Patong. Kamala Beach is nice and quiet. The 2 bedroom suite was huge and the beds were comfortable for us and our 2 boys (10 & 7). Each room has LCD TV and the living room had one too. The staff were very friendly/ polite and the amenties were well maintained and clean. The pool at the hotel was big enough the boys to have a good swim. The food at the hotel was good and there was a variety of food served. Our kids loved the kid's club. There was Wii, playstation and videos for the older kids and child minding services which was handy when we had our massages just outside the hotel. The beach was a short 5 min walk . We are definitely going there again!

Very clean rooms. Great and friendly service from staff. Rooms kept clean, good restaurant.

10 minutes from Patong Beach (Busy, Night life) , and 5 minutes to Surin Beach (Nice beach), your in between at quiet Kamala Beach area about 500m from the beach line. If your wanting a fantastic pool, with slide, and pool bar, you found it. Service is only average, Rooms are okay, air-con temp control, beware of thieving staff, keep an eye on your belongings, I had sandals stolen wrapped within a pool towel from pool area and no change given back on numerous occasions.

The hotel is a family hotel and not necessarily suitable for singles.

Overall we had a very high level of satisfaction. The hotel was just what we needed for our family situation. For the first week my wife, two children and two sisters stayed. For second week it was me instead of the sisters. So the two bedroom set up was great and the living room/dining room area was very spacious. We had a lot of room service meals and the prices were good. Maybe choice could have been a bit more extensive. We had breakfast every morning and enjoyed it. All staff were very friendly though we got the impression that the staff/guest ratio was perhaps a bit low and staff were overstretched in the restaurant. The staff were particularly kind to my two young daughters.
