Courtyard By Marriott Hong Kong Hotel Guest Reviews (5)
Our family booked three rooms with a check-out time of 12pm. Our flight home was 9:30pm. The staff were kind enough to allow us to keep one room until 4pm without charging us an extra fee. Older part and more residential side of Hong Kong. We enjoyed one of the local restaurants so much that we had breakfast there every day. Hair salon was cheap and staff gave excellent service. Laundry service available for HKD26 per kilo. All on the main street.

A good hotel in most repects - room cleanliness and comfort, staff helpfulness, service, food, etc. The three drawbacks: No bar - but there is a British-style pub 100 metres up the hill; no swimming pool (tho for a casual user like me the gym was good); location in Western District is a little inconvenient. Easy enough to hop on a tram coming back at night from Wanchai or Central, but in busy times the trams (tram stop 50 metres) or hotel bus can get bogged down in the traffic too - it could take 10 -15 mins to the MTR station at Sheung Wan. Western District is very residential and not affluent, but interesting and, as everywhere in HK, safe. Good local eateries nearby.

I have stayed here several times before. The location on the hotel waterfront is superb for views, although it requires a short, but cheap, taxi ride to get anywhere. However, taxis are always quickly available. The rooms are very well appointed, the restaurant prices reasonable and the food is fine. I found the staff uniformly excellent in their helpfulness. The cost of the rooms is very competitive.
