The Country Comfort Orange is situated 15 kilometres from the airport and just 10 minutes drive from the city centre. Located three and a half hours drive from the west of Sydney and three hours from the north west of Canberra, the property is an ideal place for a weekend escape. It is a central base to indulge in the local food and wine, explore some of the natural wonders, learn the local history and heritage or experience some of the many cultural activities. Also, the residence is close by to the restaurants, shops, town attractions and wineries. Try to get rooms away from the highway in the same wing as reception. I stupidly left clothes in the wardrobe, after making contact, they happily sent them to me COD the next business day.

Friendly, helpful staff who went out of their way to assist. Motel was okay, carpet & bedcovers could do with a freshen up but not too bad. Bathrooms appear recently renovated, very neat & clean with shampoo, shaving cream, handcream, etc. supplied. Proximity to main thoroughfare obvious with a little traffic noise but didn't disturb us.

The hotel was located in a fairly quiet location. Reception was friendly, courteous and helpful. The room was clean comfortable and nicely furnished and contained a queen bed, wardrobe, mini-fridge, desk, chair, TV, drawers, sofa, two armchairs and a table. Room service meals especially the snacks were well priced, tasty and delivered promptly. The night we were there the hotel was busy with two coaches of guests but we did not notice any noise or disturbance.
