Cosmopolitan Hotel Hong Kong

Yes. As the header says it is across the road from a small cemetery. Apart from that hiccup and having to ask house keeping to fix a problematic toilet on several occasions the rest of the stay when without problem. There are multiple FREE shuttles to times square where you can then catch the MTR (mass transit rail) to just about anywhere meaningful in Hong Kong. The concierge was helpful with directions, restaurant reservations and advice. Free wifi in the lobby of the hotel also. I recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a good value hotel.

Very friendly and helpful staff, good shuttle bus service, nice location and easy to organise outings. Breakfast was included as well as acomplimentary water bottles. Good value breakfast . Very positive experience.

We loved the location of this hotel at first we thought it was a bit out of the city but the tram outside was great we used it everyday. Happy Valley Racecourse is across the road from the hotel we had a great night there. The hotel itself was very average the room was small and we looked out over the cemetery. It was clean and comfortable for the five nights we were there. At the end of the tram ride a five minute walk to the hotel was a lovely little french restaurant/bar and a 7 eleven. They have a shutttle bus that picked us up from the train station and took us to the hotel it was great. If we stayed there again would probably spend a bit more and get a better room.

The only minus was that WiFI was not available in the room and using it in a crowded lobby was at times difficult. It could also be used in the restaurant but doing it durig meals was not the best option. Otherwise a very good hotel with lots to offer.

The hotel was an nice hotel, the suite was great and the food was good. We had to request free internet which is usually free in 4-5 star hotels around the world, the staff were friendly but it was all about how much more money they could extort from you. A bit of a hike to the City centre, but all up it was a good hotel but room for improvment in guest satisfaction.

The hotel was great for our first trip to Hong Kong, The room was clean and comfortable and the staff were all pleasent and attentive. We had the breakfast which had a wide choice and was very tasty. Once we discovered that Caseway train station was nearer than Wan Chai it was incredably easy to get around and see all the sights of both Hong Kong Island and Kowloon. Would recommend the Hotel to anyone visiting Hong Kong

Would highly recommend. Either a free hotel shuttle or a short taxi ride away to the best places in Hong Kong. Would certainly stay here again!

This place should have cost us way more for the value we received. First off, we stayed in a standard room, which was quit spacey for Hong Kong and it was very clean and everything was up to date. The staff could not have been more helpful with everything. Only cons were the slow elevators, lack of amenities (such as pool, or spad) they did have a gym though. The breakfast could have been better but at 150hkd you wont get a five star like at the conrad. The location was great, walking distance to a lot of places. Wan Chai is definitely a good place for some shopping and reasonable bars.

Location is slightly away from main stream, Pricing is high, HK$100 for a glass of ordinary w/wine in lobby bar is OTT. We paid for an upgrade to a delux room, but not sure it was worth it and in bathroom hospitality items are very limited, bring your own comb.

Upon checking in the clerk really pushed us to pay for an upgraded room. After a 16 hour flight this was the last thing we needed to hear. We had to tell her 2 times that we didn't want an upgrade before she finally shut up. Staff was attentive, and quick to respond to our requests. Hotel was very clean and quiet. Maid service was very good. This was the hardest bed I have ever slept in even after they put a foam mattress pad cover over the mattress The location was not good for us but that is a personal problem not the hotel's problem. Overall it was a nice place to stay.
