Excellent hotel. Views of lagoon simply stunning. 2 pools so one is in sun while the other is in shade - great for the summer when it gets hot. Iranian restaurant serves excellent food. Sharjah makes a nice alternative to Dubai and is a good centre for exploring. Rush hour into and arounjd Dubai is crippling so only travel at certain timers. Complimentary shuttle is available. Free use of beach facilities at Grand Sharjah

Nice property with clean facilities and nice decor. My biggest complaint about the room was the poor water situation in the shower. On the 13th floor, it went from scalding hot to freezing cold within minutes, without even touching the controls. The staff is friendly, however they don't really know much about Dubai and cannot answer questions that are out not out of a script. As far as the location goes... great if all you want to see is Sharjah. It's an awful alternative to Dubai! The traffic situation is so awful that you spend so much time in cabs getting to and from anything! Not to mention on Thursday nights, getting a cab into Dubai is nearly impossible. I'd advise against this proerty or any property in Sharjah if you're visiting Dubai.
