Mosquitoes in room with mosquito killer device having been disconnected from the electricity supply by maids. Was told by Reception that there are mosquitoes in all rooms so no possibility to move rooms - service with a smile! Facilities non-existent as the refurbishment of the Nevsky Palace shopping/leisure complex is ongoing and not expected to be completed until 2010. Otherwise, pretty good location, excellent breakfast buffet with very attractive staff. Will be very good choice when all refurbishment is completed but like most places in Russia, service could be better given the prices being chargedf.

Little atmosphere for holiday visitor, could have been anywhere.The breakfast buffet was always tired, been around a long time. Staff very helpful.
