The Coral Sands was fantastic. The apartment was excellent with friendly service and beautiful surroundings. We had a great time and would definitely stay here again.

Swimming not allowed at beach due to jellyfish. Hotel was as advertised and spacious.

The Coral Sands Resort is a collection of holiday apartments. It's located just across a small street from Trinity Beach, which is beautiful. We had a 2 bedroom apartment which was clean and decently spacious. The couple at the front desk was very nice and very helpful. We asked for extra towels and she brought them right up. They have a good activities desk and we were picked up for our activities either at our resort's front steps or across the street at a bus stop. The bus stop has regular buses that go to Cairns if you don't want to rent a car. There are some very good restaurants in walking distance although it is not as populated with stores and restaurants as other areas. The pool is shallow but nice.

We enjoyed excellent service by all staff when booking local trips - they were always friendly and pleasant. Accomodation was nicely presented and good quality in the quiet and unspoilt location.
