Location
Overlooking the turquoise Caribbean on the quieter north side of the island, the Coral Princess Hotel and Resort is only a 5-minute ride from Cozumel International Airport. The golf course, downtown San Miguel and other dining, shopping as well as nightlife of Playa del Carmen are close to the hotel.

Nice Property North of Downtown on the Ocean. We were on the third floor in a studio, we have stayed here many many times and have no complaints.

We just returned from our vacation at the Coral Princess. Our trip was great except for our experience with Hurricane Rina. The storm turned out to be less of a problem than was predicted. But in any event, the hotel staff was prepared for the worse and was ready to get us to shelter if need be. The staff, from housekeeping to maintenance to the waiters were always cheerful, friendly and courteous. They all seemed to really like their jobs. In light of the bad weather situation, they really made our vacation a success. Snorkling and scuba diving from the hotel was good. On the down side, the hotel seems to have a few plumbing problems, but any problem which we brought to their attention was promply taken care of. Also, our reservation requested a 1 bedroom suite with a king size bed. What we got was one with 2 double beds and we were told nothing else was available until our ceiling sprung a leak. We were then moved to a suite with a king sized bed. The food we had there was great. Our suite was very clean, and the service, excellant. We will definately go back to the Coral Princess the next time we visit Cozumel.
