Coral Cove Chalet Samui Guest Reviews
Coral Cove Chalet is a nice place to stay if you are looking for peace and quiet. It has a beautiful private beach with little pebbles instead of sand and a beautiful pool. They offer both hotel room and bungalows. We were fortunate to stay in a bungalow. They all have a balcony that overlooks the ocean. <BR><BR> The location is between the 2 major tourist towns - Chaweng and Lamai, so if you want to go to one of those towns, you have to catch a taxi (a pickup truck with benches and roof over the bed) for 50-100 Baht per person. We found that to be a bit of a pain, but that is how you get around if you don''t rent a motorbike or car. The restaurant served very good food and it was not expensive - about the same prices you would find in Chaweng.

In know CCC since 10 years and they never changed their nature. Always friendly (children at all) and very helpful. Swimming-pool is renovated and place enough for every guests. Rooms/Bungalow''s outfit is dreamlike and enough place for 4 peoples BUT too many germans.

The Hotel is located in a very quiet area of Koh Samui (a little bit above the sea), and is still not far from Chaweng Beach which can be reached easily within minutes by pick-up. Try to book a bungalow. Most of them have a fabulous sea-view and are - considering the price - remarkably large. The hotel has a high value for money and is a good choice for all travellers who do not need a long white sandy beach (however, two small private beaches are at the hotel) but rather enjoy fabulous views and being a little bit away from the crowds and the noise from Chaweng and Lamai.

Well you have to manage the stairs. And the private beaches could need a cleaning. Old waterbottles here and there. Not so nice.

Did not replace food for breakfast buffet so was cold. Dinner was not too flash either. Only limited loungers beside the pool so have to get in early to get one - most people put a towel on chair and then go to breakfast so need to be in quick to get a lounger. Otherwise, private beach is good for swimming. Location is good - between Chaweng and lamai - not in the noisy town but very close on motorbike.
